Digital Menus
I tweeted about Digital Menus awhile back (@MeritageEvents) when I spotted this idea from a fellow follower (@ABCeyEvents). However in doing some more searching for the new trends in 2010, I feel that this may be one that will be seen in the near future.

What are they you ask? Well, you probably have seen them in new restaurants or in casual dining places where the menu may change on a daily or weekly basis. Gone are the days of the chalk board daily specials (though I love that look), and here are the up to the minute digital version of the soup de jour and the fish of the day.
But how does this translate into special events? Well, I think it would be really cool to have a chef’s table, action station or event centered around food that featured these designs. Imagine an interactive action station with a digital menu letting you know your choices as you walk up? You can work in custom colors, logos and cool designs with these menus.
Have a little more cash and maybe a more intimate sit down dinner? Well, you can even do individual digital menus at each place setting letting your guests know about each course coming out. Very cool!
This is just one really cool idea for 2010, but there are many more sleek and new trends on the horizon…
