The Tour de France has been going on for the last two weeks taking place in France and part of Spain. I have watched it pretty much every day and the thing that amazes me as much as the energy, fitness, and stamina of the athlete’s is the amount of man power and organization to put on this 3 weeklong event. What an incredible team the tour organizers have to have in order to have every stage of that race to go so smoothly. The signage, TV crews, all the barricades that have to be set up in each city along the route, the transportation of all the teams and the personalized team jersey’s for the winners each day, and on and on and on….. There are just so many details that it blows me away to think of what it takes to make this such an amazing race each year. I wish I could be a part of that planning just for one year.
